The Triberg Falls
Germany's highest
waterfalls are on the river Gutach and occur just outside the town of Triberg in
the Black Forest

The falls are 163 meters
high and fall in three layers. Access to the falls is from 3 car parks at the
top, the middle and the bottom.
They
are not the best sign posted car parks and the top one actually turns back on
the road so by the time you se the sign you have passed it, unless you are
coming up the hill.
The
bottom one is very busy as it is closest to the Town. There is a charge to get
to the falls €3.50 and there is quite a bit of climbing to get about so be
prepared for the exercise.
The
area also have some wonderful wild life with red squirrels and lots of birds
including Jays
