Ice Cream

One of the joys of a summer holiday is the ability to sit and enjoy a good ice cream in the shade on a hot day whilst being able to enjoy the view from the location. This summer we found the perfect place Just off the main square on the way down to the lake on Seestraβe is Eis und Café Dolomiti  Here all the ice cream is made locally by the Italian owner who can be seen regularly returning to his manufacturing unit which is in the basement of the old Rathaus on the square. The café also does very good coffee!

The view from the tables outside the café is of the wonderful flower beds and the passing tourists many of whom are from the far east and bristle with cameras.

     The building in the background is the old Rathaus It is now an artist studio and a dentists as well as the source of many flavours of Ice Cream including the Black Forest Ice Cream and the local Hockfist flavour with wild berries and cherries as flavouring.
