The Constitution Debate
As part of the requirement for E.U. funding each town prepared a presentation on their interpretation of the proposed Constitution. It was hoped that the starting point for the debate would have been some work done by students from schools in the towns concerned however the School timetable and exams interfered with their preparations and only Coulommiers managed to produce responses to the questions raised. Leighton and Titisee did produce PowerPoint presentations on their views on the topic.

We had an audience of 60 who gave up a beautiful afternoon to take part. The vote, at the end was 57 in favour of a constitution and only 3 against with 2 of them having to vote against as they had not had any opportunity to read the document.
