Freiburg
Some 3/4 hour drive from Titisee is the regional centre of Freiburg. This is an old university town and is some 600metres lower than Titisee and therefore enjoys a milder climate. Snow in Titisee is only rain in Freiburg. The main area of the Town has undergone a face lift in recent years with the pavements including pictograms of the shops they front.
