Leighton-Linslade are parading at Fasnet 2008

It has been some 6 years in the planning and 2 years since 2 masks were ordered but finally it has happened that the Zugräeuber from England arrived. Places had been booked in the parade in Titisee on Sunday and costumes were almost complete when 6 members of the Twinning forum headed for Luton Airport on Thursday 31st January. Having been delayed by nearly an hour to take delivery of food for The Captain we finally took off for Basle.

We were collected from the airport by members of Titisee-Neustadt's twinning forum and almost driven directly to the wood carver's in Titisee. Waiting was a reporter from the local paper Badische-Zeitung who put an article on the front page of Friday's edition
