Friday Evening at The Star
The Leighton-Linslade Twinning Forum hosted a supper for our guests at a local public house close to the Hotel they were staying at. some 13 members of the Forum turned up and enjoyed a good chat with our guests.
The food was traditional pub food with the menu being displayed on black boards that can be seen on the wall behind the table.
Present at the meal were all the officers of the Forum, the Chairman and vice chairman of the Forum Chris Hinchliff and John Halstead together with their wives. The Secretary to the Forum Christine Barrow and her husband and the Treasurer Roy Underwood and his wife, together with last past Mayor Peter Snelling and Mrs Snelling.
