Easter 1983

Following from the success of the 1982 sporting meeting in Coulommiers both they and Titisee-Neustadt were invited to Leighton For an Easter sports event. Over 200 visitors arrived for a weekend of swimming, football, table Tennis and Gymnastics. At that time the town's twinning association was known as LOLITTA.

A mixture of fun and keen competition brought a wonderful atmosphere to the events at Tidenfoot pool where Leighton just beet the Germans with the French in third place.
