The Town is situated on the river Grand Marin which is the upper blue lines on the map. The lower blue line is the canal. The town has made great use of the water to provide areas for relaxation and sport.The Towns Waterways
The Town is situated on the river Grand Marin which is the upper blue lines on the map. The lower blue line is the canal. The town has made great use of the water to provide areas for relaxation and sport.
The reflection in the water make for some very interesting views. The river is now becoming a tourist attraction with the Tourist Information office running trips on the river in the summer months.
The views from each of the bridges are different and the wild life is also an attraction with swallows and martins flying low over the water in the evenings and controlling the midges.
