Sports facilities
One of my purposes for visiting Coulommiers was to look at the facilities for sport that the Town provides for its citizens.
Running Track Football and Rugby pitches
There is an whole area of the town behind the Parc du Capucins that is set out for a whole range of sports.
Clay and hard courts for Tennis
Basketball courts
There is a Rugby/Football stadium with a stand and floodlights which is situated on an island directly linked to the Park. 
The remaining facilities lay adjacent to the stadium between the River and the Canal. there are 4 clay tennis courts and 2 hard courts alongside the river there is also an indoor tennis court.
Skate Board Park Canoeing on the River There is an all weather running track with full floodlighting and all the usual field event facilities including Cricket nets! There is a Gymnasium with a main hall and smaller rooms for club use and beyond that complex are further football and rugby pitches. Whilst I was in the area one of the local schools was using the River for canoeing with both 2 man and single canoes.
